How do I submit for Best in Biz Awards?

The submission process is simple both for award first timers and veterans of other international, national or local award programs. An entry in any of the company, product, department/team, executive and PR and media categories, consists of three parts: 1) a description of the nominee’s achievements in 2016-2017, that is from January 1, 2016 until day of submission (in less than 500 words); 2) hyperlinks to any news coverage, press releases or materials supporting the submission; and 3) a short biography and business background of the nominee.

The entire submission is done via the ENTER NOW link above. American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Paypal are accepted methods of payment in the online entry system. If you prefer to use Google Wallet or pay by check or wire transfer, you can email us your ready submission directly in the email body or in .doc or .pdf format. Invoices can be provided upon request.

04

Can I submit entries in multiple award categories?

Yes. You may submit entries in as many award categories as you and your company see fit. If you plan to submit multiple entries in categories that focus on the same company successes, you are permitted to use the same entry content as appropriate. We encourage, however, that each award submission be targeted to the award category. Since each entry is judged separately in each category it is submitted in, entries submitted in multiple categories are eligible to win multiple awards.

05

Can I submit entries in multiple award programs?

Yes. You may submit any number of entries to any of the categories in any of the Best in Biz Awards programs throughout the year. Winning e.g. Best in Biz Awards International does not preclude a company from entering and potentially winning Best in Biz Awards (North America), in the same or different award category.

06

How much are the fees for Best in Biz Awards 2017 International submissions?

The fees in Best in Biz Awards 2017 International vary depending on the submission date. Early entry fees for all categories are $250, by the early entry deadline on January 20, 2017. Regular entry fees are $300, by the regular entry deadline on March 10, 2017, and late entry fees are $350 per submission, with the late deadline falling on April 28, 2017.

As the submissions in each award category are judged and scored by a judging panel, entry fee does not guarantee that a submission will be recognized as a gold, silver, or bronze winner.

07

I am planning to submit more than five entries. Will I be eligible for a discount?

Companies submitting five or more entries will be eligible for a 10% discount. Additional discounts might be available if you are submitting more than 10 entries. Please email us for more information.

08

How is Best in Biz Awards different from other awards programs?

Best in Biz Awards is the only business award program judged by independent members of the press and industry analysts.

09

Why are only press and analysts judging the competition?

Having researched and covered numerous successful companies, these judges have the expertise to objectively evaluate the entry pool to choose the top companies, teams, executives and products from among the submissions.

10

How are the entries judged?

Entries in each category will be judged by at least five media and industry analyst judges, with each judge providing scoring and other feedback. Scores will be combined and averaged to determine gold, silver and bronze winners for each category.

11

Are entry forms kept confidential?

Yes. Best in Biz Awards organizers ensure that only the authorized media and industry analyst judges review entries, and that information about nominees is not released to anyone else without prior approval. Furthermore, no entries, including the winning entries, will ever be posted on the Best in Biz Awards site.

12

What regions is Best in Biz Awards conferred in?

Best in Biz Awards is currently conferred in two programs: North America and International. The North American program runs from June until September, and the International program runs from January until May.

Any company based in or operating in the specific awards region is eligible to apply in that region’s awards program. This includes companies whose headquarters are outside the region but which have offices or otherwise conduct business in the region.

The International program is our broadest and is open to any company from any industry operating in any country in the world. Entrants need not be conducting business globally; in fact, many past winners operate locally, nationally, or regionally.

13

My company’s headquarters is outside Europe, Middle East or Africa (EMEA), but the majority of our business is conducted within it. Are we eligible to apply?

Yes, you are. All companies based anywhere in the world are eligible to enter Best in Biz Awards 2017 International.

14

My company is small. What if much bigger companies submit in my category?

All entries are judged on their own merit, recognizing achievements and successes while taking into account the companies’ size, resources and competitive industry landscape. The judges don’t play favorites and honor the best work in the region, regardless of size and budget. As a result, small companies are as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies, putting everyone on a level playing field.

If necessary, the judges can decide to divide entries in any category into further subcategories based on size, e.g. winners in categories such as Company of the Year, Fastest Growing Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year and Executive of the Year are determined in three company size subcategories, i.e. Small, Medium and Large.
