Best in Biz Awards honors companies, teams, executives and products for their business success in the current and previous year. Best in Biz Awards is unique, as it is the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts. Previous judges in the International program hail from publications such as Australian, Business Insider, Gizmodo, Huffington Post, Irish Independent, PC Format and Vancouver Sun, and winners include well-recognized brands such as BlackBerry, Dell, DHL, Epson, Lenovo, Procter & Gamble, Royal Bank of Scotland and Toshiba, as well as many of the most innovative start-ups and up-and-coming companies from more than 30 countries around the world.

Submission process

Best in Biz Awards is currently held annually in two separate, geography based programs: (1) a North American program, covering the U.S. and Canada; and (2) an International program open to all companies anywhere in the world.

Please note that after a fantastic three years of EMEA programs, the EMEA program will not be offered in 2017. Instead, all companies worldwide are eligible to enter our 5th annual, 2017 International program, which is accepting entries through the final deadline on April 28, 2017.

Companies may submit any number of entries to any of the 60 company, department / team, executive, product and PR and media award categories in any of the Best in Biz Awards programs throughout the year. In order to participate in the International program, entrants need not be conducting business globally; in fact, many past winners operate locally, nationally, or regionally. Companies eligible to participate in multiple programs are encouraged to do so.

For each category a company enters, a simple 3-part submission is required. Submissions consist of: (1) a summary of achievements and successes during the eligibility period (2014-2015) that are relevant to the award category; (2) supporting hyperlinks; and (3) a short biography of the nominee. We have found that this simple, but meaningful submission process is intuitive, and gives the judging panel a great window into the relevant business successes of each of the award entrants, ensuring that all of our participants compete on the merits and on an equal basis.

Judges

Best in Biz Awards is unique as it is the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts. Each year, Best in Biz Awards assembles a top-notch judging panel to review and score all awards submissions. Having researched and covered numerous successful companies, products, and dynamic business personalities, the judges are well positioned to objectively evaluate the entry pool to determine the top companies, teams, executives and products from among the submissions.

2014 International judging panel included 26 judges from 16 countries and all continents, including such well-recognized publications as Australian, Computer Hoy (Spain), Gizmodo, Huffington Post and Irish Independent. Countries represented included Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom and United States.
